1. Who we are
JC Studio operates Retro Calculator (Android package com.jcstudio.retrocalculator), a calculator with local calculation history and everyday calculation tools. Contact: whdcjf8172@gmail.com.
2. Your calculations stay on your device
Calculations, history, favorites, preferences and advertising frequency timestamps are stored locally. We do not send calculation inputs or history to our own server. There is no account, cloud sync, location tracking, contact access, microphone access or separate analytics SDK. Copying a calculation places it on your device clipboard; you decide where to paste it.
3. Advertising and Google
The app includes Google AdMob banner and interstitial advertising and Google User Messaging Platform (UMP) consent management. When ad requests are permitted, Google and its advertising partners may process IP address (including approximate location derived from IP), advertising and other device identifiers, app interactions, ad views/clicks and diagnostic information for ad delivery, measurement, fraud prevention and service operation. We do not send your calculation content as ad targeting data. Development builds use Google test ad units. Ad requests depend on network availability and consent; the calculator works offline.
4. Your privacy choices
Where required, including the EEA, UK and Switzerland, the app requests your privacy choices using Google UMP before requesting ads. Depending on your region, a privacy options entry in Settings lets you revisit your choices, including applicable US state opt-out rights. Declining optional consent does not disable calculation features; limited or non-personalized ads may still be allowed under the applicable choices and Google policies. You can also manage or reset the Android advertising ID in system settings.
5. Purposes, legal grounds and international processing
We process local app data to provide the features you request. Support messages are used to respond to your request. Where applicable, consent is the basis for optional advertising storage/personalization, while essential operations and security may rely on legitimate interests or service necessity under applicable law. Google may process data in the United States and other countries using its applicable transfer safeguards. Review Google’s policies for partner-specific purposes, grounds, recipients and retention.
6. Retention, deletion and rights
Local history stays until you delete a record, clear all history in Settings, clear Android app storage or uninstall the app. Turning off history saving does not erase earlier records. App-owned Android backup is disabled. Clipboard copies remain outside app control. Ad frequency timestamps are pruned to the rolling 24-hour window during use. Google retains advertising data under its own policies. Support correspondence is normally deleted within 12 months after a request is resolved unless retention is legally required. Contact us to request access, correction or deletion of support data; we cannot remotely retrieve or delete your local calculator history. Applicable rights may include withdrawal of consent, objection, restriction, portability and a complaint to your local data protection authority.
7. Children and security
This general-purpose utility is not designed or marketed specifically to children. We do not knowingly collect children’s personal information. Contact us if you believe a child has provided personal information. Local data is protected by the operating system’s app sandbox; protect access to your device. No security measure can guarantee absolute security.
8. This website and changes
These pages have no analytics scripts, advertising scripts or application cookies. Cloudflare hosts the pages and may process IP addresses and technical request logs to deliver and secure the site. Material changes are reflected in an updated effective date and, where required, an in-app notice or renewed consent.
